Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork BBQ & Low-Cal Coleslaw

Hankerin’ for some BBQ? Try this simple and tasty slow cooker recipe 🙂  

Ingredients For Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork:

2 lbs Pork Tenderloin

12 oz Dr. Pepper

12 oz BBQ Sauce

2 Garlic Cloves, Minced

Ingredients for Low-Cal Coleslaw:

1 Bag of Coleslaw / Cabbage

1/4 cup Light Mayo

1/8 Vinegar

Directions: 

Place pork in the slow cooker. Add Dr. Pepper and garlic and cook on low for 6 hours or until pork shreds easily with a fork.

After pork has cooked drain and discard Dr. Pepper. Shred pork and place it back in the slow cooker. Pour in BBQ sauce and stir.

Mix the cabbage, mayo and vinegar. Refrigerate the coleslaw before serving.

Serve with Hawaiian roles, baked beans and tater tots.
