1 1/2 pounds lean ground turkey
2 large onions
1 large red sweet pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 15 ounce can of kidney beans, rinsed and drained
1 15 ounce can of black beans, rinsed and drained
2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes, undrained
1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 packet of McCormick Chili Seasoning Mix
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Dairy sour cream (optional)
In a 4-quart Dutch oven cook ground turkey, onion, sweet pepper, and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender; drain fat.
Stir in kidney beans, black beans, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, chili seasoning and black pepper.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
If desired, top with cheese and/or sour cream.
Serving Size: 1 1/2 cups chili (290 calories)
